Tobey is a gem. We bought him for me after my best friend, Harvey, died
last Spring. He has helped me get back in the saddle (no pun intended) and ride when I really thought I was done with horses.
He is the only other horse I have felt safe enough to jump a course on and the only one I have galloped through Hitchcock
Woods (besides the wonderful Greta). He is very well schooled and has good lateral work and rate-ability. He has a pretty
good eye for the fences and can definately take a joke (or three or four) if you miss your spot. Does have lead changes (auto
to the right, have to ask to the left). Very reliable and comfortable, Tobey is a great hilltopper and can go first flight. He
is also flashy enough to get the judge's eye at horse shows. He has been to dressage (1st level) and hunter shows (3'),
foxhunted, evented a couple times and hunter paced. He is a great all rounder who earns his oats every ride out. We are looking
for the best home possible for Tobey so no kids who may turn him over when they graduate. He deserves the best.
Tobey showing at PSJ. We were late for his class (we wanted to do the pre-adult 2'6" class) and the 1st Year
Greens (3') was the only division left to show in. Competed against nice warmbloods and actually got decent ribbons. What
a good man.
February 2011: Short video of Tobey hopping over a few fences with both Emile and I (not at the same time).
December 2010: Hitchcock Woods. Video is not good quality but does show a bit of who Tobey is. Keep in mind
that this is Emile, grand prix showjumper, riding him. When I jump him, he is very slow and relaxed. This is about as 'up'
as Tobey gets while jumping.

With me, a scaredy-cat causing his less than perfect form.
